The In2Care mosquito system
Our primary suggested option for mosquito control is the In2Care mosquito control system. This is a safe, effective, and affordable option for the treatment of disease carrying mosquitos.
Here is a quick explanation of the In2Care mosquito system.

Mosquitos fly into the trap, lay eggs, and then leave and spread the larvicide to other potential breeding sites. The eggs hatch and the larva die. The mosquito itself also picks up a fungal infection from the trap that prevents dangerous viruses like Zika from replicating and growing inside the mosquito. Eventually the mosquito will die but only after spreading the larvicide around and making other sites unbreedable. For more information, check out the video below:
Other mosquito control options
This system is the most cost-effective method for control of mosquitos. However, there are other options that may better suit your budget or control needs.
One-time pesticide treatments are viable option. This treatment is best for one-off home parties or events where quick elimination is needed. We can come and treat 2-3 days before the gathering and it will majorly reduce the mosquito population. The downside is that the treatment is only effective for a few weeks at the most. You can have this treatment done on a regular basis but in the long run, the In2Care system will work better and be more effective.
Mosquito Misting Systems
Another option is a mosquito misting system. This is by far the most effective way to control mosquitos. Unfortunately, the cost is significantly more than other options. The systems require installations that vary depending on the size and scope of the area that needs to be covered. Many times, lines will need to be run underground, along eaves, and fence lines. A misting system sprays pesticide twice a day in outdoor living areas. The system can be used manually when more mist is needed. Some of the higher end options have remote controls and even smartphone apps. Misting systems are the clear choice for areas with a very strong mosquito presence. Areas with large nearby bodies of still water and areas with extremely dense forest or foliage are where we would recommend this system over the In2Care system.
Most residential areas and neighborhood would only need the In2Care system to control mosquitos.
Here at Momentum Pest Control, we have the training, expertise, and experience to provide each of these treatment options. Give us a call today find out more about what you need to have a healthy, happy, and mosquito free outdoor living area.
