Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions that we receive. However, if any questions are not answered in the frequently asked questions below, please give us a call to help with any issues you may have.

Frequently asked questions about pricing, payments, and availability:

Q: How much would it cost to to spray my …. (house, office, business, etc..)?

A: Due to the nature of pests and different types of infestations, we can’t give a definitive price without first inspecting the location and determining the issue.  Our inspections are generally free of any cost and we are always happy to come take a look and tell you what options are available to you.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, and money orders.

Q: I’m only available to have my location sprayed in the evenings or on the weekends.  Is this an option?

A: Certainly!  We know that life can be hectic and we can happily schedule an appointment the works around the busy lives of our customers. Please note that all services that will be outside of normal business hours are by appointment only.

Q: I don’t want to be locked in to a long-term contract. Is this required for your services?

A: We do not require residential customers to sign any contract for our pest control services. All services are scheduled with you prior to our arrival and payment is expected when services are rendered. We will not require a credit or debit card be put on file (although you are welcome to if you like) with the exception of pre-arranged payment plans for larger services. Some commercial facilities may require contracts due to the frequency of service.

Frequently asked questions about termites:

Q: I think I might have termites but my house is up on blocks.  Do you treat these types of houses?

A: Yes!  While most houses are built on a slab foundation now, older pier and beam houses are actually MORE prone to getting a termite infestation because there are more places for the termites to enter the structure.  We’re happy to come and go under your house to take a look.

Q: Is the work guaranteed or does it carry a warranty?

A: Absolutely.  The length of the guarantee depends on the pest problem.  All termite treatments carry a documented warranty.

Q: I’m selling my house or I’m looking to buy a house.  Do you provide termite inspections?

A: Yes, we can provide an offical State of Texas Wood Destroying Insect report which will state the termites we’ve found (if any), previous infestation evidence, or places that are conducive to a future infestation.

Other commonly asked questions:

Q: What safety measures are in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

A: This is a difficult time we are in. However, we are taking steps to ensure your safety. All employees have a mask and will you use them if you prefer. They are also equipped with gloves, sanitizer, and have been trained in proper handwashing techniques. Any employee with symptoms will not be allowed at work.

Q: Is there anything I can do on my own to address the problem?

A: Yes!  The short answer is clean, clean, clean!  Many pest issues (but certainly not all) are a result of an unsanitary condition somewhere nearby.

Q: Is the treatment harmful to…(me, my family, my pets, etc)?

A: All chemicals present some risk if misused or improperly handled.  Generally, the treatments will not pose an immediate threat but if there are any risks, they will be stated up front. We will let you know what you need to do to be safe.  All personnel have taken state approved courses and tests that train them in the safe handling of pesticides.

Q: Are there safer or “green” alternatives?

A: Although we cannot claim to provide “green” pest control services, there are many non-toxic or mechanical solutions that may be available to you depending on the nature of the problem.

Q: Where can I check out what others thought of your services:

A: You can go to our testimonials page or you can visit the links below:
